- Fort and beach car parks get crowded from late morning in peak season — an early start helps.
- Wear comfortable shoes for Chapora Fort's short, uneven climb.
- Water sports at Baga and Calangute are run by independent operators; book and pay them directly.
- From mid-afternoon the Calangute–Baga road can be slow; your driver will plan around it.
