Why Sightsee by Private Taxi?
- Your pace, your stops. Spend longer at the beach, skip a fort, or stop for lunch wherever you like.
- No group bus. The car is booked only for your party, from your hotel door.
- A local driver. Our drivers know the parking spots, the quieter viewpoints and the traffic patterns.
- Comfort in the heat. Air-conditioning between stops makes a big difference from March to May.
- Simple for families. Car seats, prams and grandparents are all easier in a private vehicle.
North Goa or South Goa: Which First?
North Goa is about beaches, forts, cafés and sunsets — lively, busy and best for first-time visitors who want the classic Goa scenes. South Goa is quieter and more about heritage: the UNESCO-listed churches of Old Goa, temples around Ponda, spice farms and long, calm beaches.
If you have only one day, choose by your hotel location and interests. Staying in Candolim, Calangute or Baga? A North Goa day keeps driving time low. Interested in history and architecture? Make it South Goa. With two days, do one of each.
Planning a Good Sightseeing Day
- Start by 9 am to beat the heat and the crowds at popular forts and churches.
- Carry water, sunscreen, a hat and a light scarf or shawl for church and temple visits.
- Plan lunch near the middle of the route — your driver can suggest places.
- Keep sunset free for a beach or a fort viewpoint such as Chapora.
- In the monsoon (roughly June–September), plan for rain breaks and slower roads.
Opening days, timings, entry fees and dress codes at forts, churches, temples and attractions are set by those sites and can change, so we confirm the final plan with you before the day. Entry tickets, activities and meals are not part of the taxi fare unless your quotation says so.
Vehicles for Sightseeing
Sightseeing taxis are available as a sedan (up to 4 passengers), Ertiga/XL6 (up to 6), Innova Crysta (up to 7) or, for groups of 8–20, a Tempo Traveller. All are air-conditioned with a driver.
How to Book a Sightseeing Taxi
- Choose North Goa, South Goa or both, and list any must-see places.
- Share your date, pickup hotel and passenger count.
- Receive a suggested plan and written quotation on WhatsApp.
- Confirm — we share your driver's details the evening before.
Goa Sightseeing Taxi: FAQs
How long is a Goa sightseeing tour by taxi?
Our North Goa and South Goa sightseeing days are planned as full-day trips of about 8 hours. Multi-day tours combining both regions are also available.
Can I change the places on the itinerary?
Yes. The car is private, so you can add, skip or swap stops. Tell us your preferences when you book and we will plan a realistic route.
Are entry tickets included in the sightseeing taxi fare?
No, unless your quotation says otherwise. The fare covers the car and driver; entry tickets, activities and meals are paid separately.
Is North Goa or South Goa better for one day?
North Goa suits beach and fort lovers and is close to Candolim, Calangute and Baga. South Goa suits heritage and temple visits. With two days, you can do both.
Can a large group book a sightseeing tour?
Yes. Groups of 8 to 20 can travel together in a 13, 17 or 20 seater Tempo Traveller.
Do you offer sightseeing during the monsoon?
Yes. Some beaches and activities are quieter or closed in the monsoon, so we adjust the plan around weather and site timings.
